The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced the launch by its Knowledge and Innovation Community dedicated to the ‘New European Bauhaus’ (NEB) of a new call as part of its Catalyse programme.

The Catalyse call for proposals will reward socially innovative young companies developing products and services that promote sustainable models of society. European start-ups that are trying to bring about change in the fields of climate, cities, transport, industry and food systems are particularly encouraged to take part in the call. 28 places are available.

The winners of the call will receive funding of up to €50,000 from the EIT. They will also benefit from training, business mentoring and access to the EIT’s vast European innovation network.

The call for applications is open until 4 December.
