European Research Ministers discuss importance of Europe’s science diplomacy and Horizon Europe Strategic Plan in Santander

The informal ministerial meeting on the competitiveness (research) of the EU will take place in Santander on July 28th

The working sessions of the informal ministerial meeting on research will focus on fostering innovation in the countries on the shores of the Mediterranean and will underline the importance of Europe’s science and technology diplomacy.

The Spanish Presidency is also dedicating one of its Presidency conferences to science diplomacy. This event will take place in Madrid on 18 and 19 December 2023: Conference on Science Diplomacy (europa.eu)

The next formal EU Competitiveness Council (Research) is scheduled for 8 December 2023 in Brussels.
