Applications come from 18 EU and non-EU countries, most of them coming from Italy (7), Spain (5), Ireland (3) and Tunisia (3). Applicants implementing Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) could apply to any of the three categories: sustainable, newcomer and inclusive. Evaluations have started. The winners will be joining the community of Gender Equality Champions and receiving a €100,000 award.
