The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a €20 million convertible loan agreement with Dutch Semiconductor innovator Morphotonics. The funding is part of the company’s Series B round, which also includes contributions from BOM and Invest-NL, of over €40 million in financing aimed at scaling its large-area nanoimprint lithography platforms, a key manufacturing technology relevant for AI glasses, Augmented Reality waveguides and advanced photonic components.
The EIB backing for Morphotonics is supported under the European Commission’s InvestEU programme.
