The European Commission has published the second thematic report of the Mutual Learning Exercise on EU Missions entitled 'Understanding Mission portfolios'. This report introduces the concepts of Mission portfolios and Mission portfolio management and discusses the benefits and challenges of applying a portfolio approach in Mission implementation, illustrated with examples from several countries.
