On 26 June 2024, ERAC held a plenary meeting in Brussels. The meeting was co-chaired by Marc Lemaitre, Commission Director-General for Research and Innovation, and Director-General Barbara Weitgruber (AT, elected MS‘ co-chair). At this meeting, ERAC adopted two opinions on important upcoming topics: the ERAC Opinion on the ERA Policy Agenda 2025-2027 and the ERAC Opinion on the next Framework Programme for Research and Innovation („FP 10“). In additon, ERAC members exchanged views on the role of R&I for Europe’s competitiveness and on research infrastructures as strategic investments for the future.
