This webinar will provide an overview of how the EUA’s Institutional Evaluation Programme (EUA-IEP) is expanding its scope to support the evaluation of European Universities alliances. Building on 30 years of experience as an independent quality assurance programme, EUA-IEP now offers tailored, peer-reviewed evaluations designed specifically to strengthen alliances’ strategic leadership, change management capacity and internal quality culture. The evaluations focus on the alliance as a whole, taking into account its unique profile, objectives and stage of development. They assess governance arrangements, cooperation mechanisms and alliance-wide quality assurance processes, with a strong emphasis on improvement.
During the webinar, a member of the EUA-IEP Steering Committee will present the main characteristics and added value of the programme for university alliances. A representative from an alliance currently undergoing evaluation will share first-hand insights into the process and its benefits, and the EUA-IEP Secretariat will provide practical information on the methodology and implementation of alliance evaluations.
