The European Commission has launched the ResearchComp Self-Assessment Tool, a new tool designed to empower researchers across Europe by helping them assess and develop crucial transversal skills. This initiative aims not only to support researchers in their career development but also to assist higher education institutions, training providers, and employers in recognising and harnessing the diverse competencies of the research community.
Researchers and interested stakeholders can also easily and effectively assess their research competences, their strengths and areas for improvements, and to identify their skills gap with this tool. it is based on the 39 competences of ResearchComp and allows users to identify their proficiency level in each of the 7 competence areas through a multiple-choice online questionnaire.
