- Launch: The Max Planck–IAS–NTU Center (MPC) was officially inaugurated on September 1, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan. A highlight of the ceremony was the formal exchange of the agreement, signed by Claudia Felser (Vice President, Max Planck Society) and Wen-Chang Chen (President, NTU).
- Partners: The MPC is a joint initiative of the Max Planck Institute for Physics (MPP) in Garching, Germany, the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton, USA, and National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taipei, Taiwan.
- International scope: It is the second Max Planck Center to establish institutional bridges with leading academic partners in Princeton and Taiwan.
