European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had established the EU-India TTC in April 2022 as a key bilateral platform to address challenges at the confluence of trade, trusted technology and security. The European Union and India, as two large and vibrant democracies with open market economies, shared values and pluralistic societies, are natural partners in a multipolar world.
