Annual call for proposals
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) and Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) calls for funding are open to organisations and institutions every year.
This year, the Erasmus+ call for proposals selected 37 EMJM and 50 EMDM programmes.
New programmes
Examples of new masters include
- Excellence in analytical chemistry
- Data science of human multimodal communication
- International law of security, peace and sustainable development
- Radiation and its effects on microelectronics and photonics technologies
- Renewable energy and sustainable construction
- Insects as solutions for a sustainable future
- Teaching, designing, managing, foreign language learning for a multicultural and inclusive environment
- Documentary filmmaking
- Renewable energy in the marine environment
- Large scale accelerators and lasers
Once open, these programmes will be available to students from across the world, with EU full scholarships also available.
At EU level, they contribute to the Union of Skills, which seeks to attract, develop and retain talent to bolster Europe’s competitiveness and innovation capacity, including with students from outside the EU.
Students will be able to apply once programmes are finalised and published in the Erasmus Mundus catalogue.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters projects selected under 2025 Erasmus+ call for proposals
Note that final decision on these proposals is subject to the completion of the grant award procedure in line with the timeline indicated in the call for proposals and will be published on the Funding & Tender Opportunities Portal (F&TP). The European Education and Culture Executive Agency may, until such time as the agreement is signed, either abandon or cancel the procedure without this entitling the applicants on this list to any compensation.

Erasmus Mundus aims to promote excellence and global reach in higher education through Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes.
This year, selected consortia are made up of organisations from 30 different countries, while another 28 additional countries are represented with associated partners.
Consortia involve on average 28 participating organisations (including associated partners) per proposal.
