EARTO, the European Association of Research and Technology Organisations, has presented a position paper on the EU’s next Multiannual Financial Framework. The paper was published on 21 October 2024 and includes the following recommendations:
- Strengthen FP10 investments in developing critical Technologies using the FP’s Pillar 2;
- Make the new Competitiveness Fund a catalyst for additional private RD&I investments by creating a new RD&I investments conditionality for EU Financial Instruments;
- Launch a major new EU programme in support of Technology Infrastructures within FP10 to coordinate investments across Europe;
- Mobilise and strengthen European RTOs capabilities across Europe.
