On 19 February, 2024 the European Commission’s DG RTD launched the Foresight platform ‘futures4europe’. The aim of the initiative is to support engagement with strategic foresight activities for Horizon Europe. It brings together foresight experts and R&I policy-makers from across the EU, collecting national and European foresight projects and promoting futures literacy through educational material and relevant newsletters. The platform is hosted by the Foresight on Demand consortium (FOD) with support by the European Commission. The FOD is a group of individuals and organisations aiming at networking the foresight community in Europe and beyond with a view to support the Research and Innovation Policy of the European Union, its Member States and of countries associated with the EU Framework Programme.
