The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a technical report ‘Global Demography Expert Survey on the Drivers and Consequences of Demographic Change’. The report, which was released on 17 October 2023, analyses the complex processes of demographic trends, such as population ageing, changes in family structures, urbanisation and international migration, all of which are influenced by a wide range of social, economic, cultural, and political factors.
