Through calls, the FAIR-IMPACT project supports scientific institutions and researchers themselves on their way to producing FAIR data (traceable, accessible, interoperable and reusable data). In the current call, which is open until November 1, 2023, candidates can apply for support from program mentors who will train successful applicants to implement procedures supporting the creation of FAIR data.
Call for specialist advice and individual support
The call is suitable for beginners or less advanced applicants in the field of implementing the principles of FAIR data into practice. The FAIR-IMPACT project will provide successful applicants with specialised advice and individual support. Successful applicants with the help of program mentors will have the opportunity to evaluate their current skills in the field (FAIR data). Mentors and external experts will help with the development of an action plan that will help successful applicants in the process of introducing FAIR data.
The call is open to:
- Initiatives at national level,
- Research performing organisations,
- Storage operators and data providers.
Successful applicants will receive individual support with dedicated mentors (no financial support is provided for this specific programme).
Successful applicants from each of the three stakeholder groups will work with FAIR-IMPACT mentors and external experts over nine months to learn how to support the implementation of practices that support FAIR Data principles. This will include participation in a series of virtual seminars based on the FAIR implementation framework, assessed homework and individual support.
