Israel Innovation Authority will invest up to 30 million NIS in establishing the infrastructure to serve companies and researchers throughout Israel. The R&D Lab will support accelerated research and development in hardware components, communication, and software. The new infrastructure aims to address technological advancements in data processing demands for AI computation, high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, and processing units.

NextSilicon is an Israeli company that develops revolutionary processing technologies capable of accelerating computing applications at high speeds with maximum energy efficiency, without requiring any changes in code or user adaptations. Following a competitive process conducted by the Innovation Authority, NextSilicon was chosen to lead a consortium of four Israeli companies that have developed unique solutions in areas such as HPC, AI acceleration, branding, and specialized memory access. The company’s headquarters are located in Givatayim, with additional branches in Jerusalem, Be’er Sheva, Haifa, and Yokneam.
